I Heart Faces - Week 3

This week, the theme at I Heart Faces is "We Are Family!" Let me tell you...this is a theme near and dear to my heart.

My brother is a pilot in the Army, and part of his job includes being deployed. He has been through several deployments, and his most recent deployment was to Iraq. He has two young sons and a wife who sacrificed being away from their daddy/hubby for an extended period of time. Just last month, he returned home to his family who eagerly awaited him in the airport at 10:45 at night. Their reunion was priceless...what a joyful and emotional moment it is to witness the homecoming of two young boys' daddy/hero.

God bless all of our men and women who serve in the military!

I Heart Faces - Blurb Book Contest

Here's my entry for this week's I Heart Faces contest. I took this picture a couple of weeks ago at Little "M's" first birthday celebration...she definitely "dug in" and enjoyed herself! :)

Fun to be One!

I had the privilege of capturing some sweet moments at my college girlfriend's little girl's first birthday party this past Saturday. What an adorable family...Little "M" has the cutest cousins who were right in the mix as she enjoyed her special day. She was priceless when she dug into her cake! Here are some of my favorites...hard to narrow them down since she's so darn cute! Happy birthday, sweet girl!
