I Heart Faces - Week 3

This week, the theme at I Heart Faces is "We Are Family!" Let me tell you...this is a theme near and dear to my heart.

My brother is a pilot in the Army, and part of his job includes being deployed. He has been through several deployments, and his most recent deployment was to Iraq. He has two young sons and a wife who sacrificed being away from their daddy/hubby for an extended period of time. Just last month, he returned home to his family who eagerly awaited him in the airport at 10:45 at night. Their reunion was priceless...what a joyful and emotional moment it is to witness the homecoming of two young boys' daddy/hero.

    Courtney, When I clicked over from your comment on my blog, i first checked out your other post about driving down to welcome your brother home and thought, "Oh, she should have entered that black & white one in I ♥ Faces' contest this week."     OMG. That was my life 20 years ago when my Hubby was deployed. He also flew helicopters. Every day is a Blessing when you look at photos like that!

    beautiful beautiful picture!!! I love the little boy's face and how the mom is leaning up, the stroller, the balloons...makes you feel like you really got to see the awesome reuion!!
